iPhone no longer charges

Sometimes the simplest solution is the right one. For example, my iPhone suddenly stopped charging.

I kept fiddling with the charging cable—sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. I even searched online to see if I could remove the charging connector because it has those tiny screws.

The solution

But the solution was much simpler. Since I always keep my iPhone in my pocket, dust had built up inside the charging port. I just unfolded a paperclip and gently removed the dust.

As simple as it sounds, I noticed many people online had the same issue—but very few mentioned this fix. Hopefully it helps you too.
