Private Searching in Google
Search engines like Google use your browsing history to determine the order of search results. But you can also search in a neutral, private way using Google.

If you want to check how your own website ranks in the search results, you don’t want a “smart” version of the search page. After all, a neutral visitor wouldn’t search that way either.
What does InPrivate Browsing do?
InPrivate browsing prevents Internet Explorer from saving data. Information such as cookies, temporary internet files, and history will not be stored and therefore cannot be used. Note: sometimes cookies are necessary to place an order online.
How to Search in Google Using InPrivate Mode
In this example, we use Internet Explorer 11 together with Google.
- Open >> Internet Explorer
- Go to >> Safety in the menu bar

- Then click on >> InPrivate Browsing

- Google will display a message indicating private browsing

- You can now browse the internet using InPrivate mode, without history being saved.
- Once you close the browser, everything returns to normal.
- As long as InPrivate is shown in the address bar, your browsing history is not recorded.
